Location, Location, Location!!!
The townhouse is very cozy and charming. This is the earliest I have visited 3 Oaks. Most of the stores had not opened for the season but 3 Oaks is still a wonderful place to visit in the off season. We arrived on St. Patrick's Day and had lunch at Nelson's as usual. Greeted with the best Corn beef and cabbage. Checked into the townhouse and was greeted by a wonderful caretaker and assistant. They showed us the house and made us feel at home. The location of this home is key to visiting 3 Oaks. You are within walking distance of all the major shops and eateries. Went to the Journeyman distillery and the Acorn Theater. My first visit to the Vickers movie theater. Great venue that shows art house movies. Driers meat market was open early because of an early Easter. The home was sufficiently appointed with all of the necessities . Great heating system and direct t.v. It was NCAA tournament weekend so we enjoyed the games. WiFi was very good. Many rentals have weak WiFi. If you are planning a trip to 3 Oaks or the area you can not go wrong renting this place. I have stayed in many places in 3 Oaks over the years and this place is definitely high on my list. looking forward to a return trip. I would like to check out the other house they own. It is a Civil War era house south of 3 Oaks in the country. Looks like a great place for a summer or fall retreat.
Quiet 3 Oaks Townhouse. The town is an absolute jewel -- the home of "Prancer".
