Overall impression was slightly above average.
My wife, daughter and I were in town for a week long softball tournament. We travel a lot with the softball team so we have stayed many places. The place was very centrally located in Salisbury on the edge of a rejuvenated downtown and a not so great neighborhood. I was never concerned for our safety and even left a lot of items in the back of my truck every night and nothing came up missing. The loft was large and open and the owner was very pleasant when we met in the cafe downstairs. When the sink leaked someone came to fix it within a couple of hours. There was an assortment of items provided in the unit: linens, paper products, toaster, plates, bowls, etc... However, none of it was super nice. The real downside of the unit was the bathroom. It seemed like the entire unit had been rehabbed and had nice furnishings but they left the old, small tub/shower. The water pressure and spotty hot water was annoying. You should also be aware that all four units share the same washer/dryer and it was tied up almost the entire week. The beds were comfy but it you need your privacy you should look elsewhere as this is truly a loft with no walls going to the ceiling. This was not a problem for us as we regularly stay in a small hotel room. There is a nice new cafe downstairs and some restaurants within walking distance. Note to the owner: buy a larger tv. It was impossible to see it from any of the furniture since the room is so large. Overall I would stay here again if I was in the area, especially if they upgraded the bathroom and worked out the hot water issues.
