Cabin was comfortable, convenient, and spacious.
We found the cabin to be exactly as described in the listing. The owners were friendly and the cabin was clean. Appliances were in good working order. As mentioned in the listing, there is no telephone, cable, or internet. My cell phone (Verizon) was able to get enough signal to make calls outside in the yard. There is a small IGA grocery store nearby, and Beaverton and Gladwin are just a short drive away if more shopping options are needed. Beds were comfortable and linens were plentiful. There are 2 double and two twin beds. 6 adults would have no trouble staying comfortably. The short section of road between the gravel road and the house (about 300-400 feet long) is a bit rough. A Lincoln MKZ and a Ford Taurus had no trouble, but lower cars might have a problem. It's always a challenge to travel with dogs, and it was nice to find a property where dogs were welcome. The yard is fully fenced, and this was great for our dogs. People with dogs that jump fences be warned, the fence is only 4 feet high. This was not a problem for us, as our dogs are never outside unsupervised. All the floors in the cabin are laminate except for the bathroom, so if your dog is afraid of walking on laminate floor this cabin may not be the best option. Overall: 5/5. Property was as described and very quiet.
