What a beautiful cabin and location! It was incredibly peaceful, a retreat. There were a Rhine School sign, a tree house, and a stunning painting upon entering the property that gave my curiosity a start. There were so many outdoor spaces to hang out and take it all in. When I first walked into the cabin, I was thrilled to get a small glimpse into the owner and history of the cabin. I noticed a humanitarian award and a beautiful sketch. Inside the cabin it felt cozy and inviting with a functioning wood stove. The furnishings immediately struck me as a collection from world travels, pieced together just beautifully. The beds were comfortable and the shower hot and spacious. I absolutely appreciated the broad reading material in the bookshelf and was thrilled to find the notation about the cabin starting life as a one room school house in a Vacaville history book. Eleanor helped us start the fire in the wood stove the first night and we slept like babies. This is a very special place to visit and we will return.
Open floor plan with a large farm style kitchen great for get togethers
