Seclusion,privacy and a majestic view
There were two couples in my party and we had plenty of room for privacy. We hadn't heard from the property manager until I requested access info the day before we were to check in. I believe the owner may have changed managers. Anyway, I got a quick response once we connected and all went smoothly. The house sits high up on a hill with a beautiful view of the Ojai valley. The owner had many amenities for us once we got there. I usually prepare my spices, oils and coffee fixings for travel but since we are local, I took only the bare essentials. The owner had many things you would need in the kitchen. There was tea, oatmeal, spices, oils, coffee and creamer etc. it was a nice touch for the cook. The bathrooms were well stocked too with anything you might require. We spent most of our time in the backyard. It was shady, flat and no matter which way you looked, there was a nice view. The owner had prepared a check in book. The book was very useful because it contained all the restaurant menus, and other things to do in the valley. I like to hike and there is a wonderful trail very close to the house. My friend and I walked along backyards and a vineyard and the trail led us right to downtown. I would have never known about it if it was for the book. We attended a concert in Libby Park which took us just a few minutes to get to. We ate a Azu before the concert which was very good. We had a very comfortable stay here although we paid a fee of about $60 that I have never paid before and I was told by the former property manager that it was a Homeaway admin fee??
