West end of Molokai is very photogenic. Condo was well appointed.
We spent 7 days at this condo. It is about 20 miles from a decent food store, so one must shop smartly. The condo was a 1st floor unit, and we unfortunately had a noisy upstairs neighbor. There are signs everywhere that QUIET hours are between 10pm and 8am. Some folks think these rues do not apply to them! Aside from this small wrinkle, the west end of Molokai has much to offer. There are many hiking options. The beach, though, is really too rough for swimming... but it is beautiful. On our last day, we were fortunate to see an endangered Hawaiian monk seal resting on the beach, just 5 minutes from the condo. The owner is very receptive to issues. It was great to have use of his truck! The condo was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything one would need to cook... including a rice cooker. Many staples were left for our use. The abandoned hotel and lodge was a little depressing, but it made for a quiet stay (most of he time!). We were pleased with our choice.
