Very Enjoyable Place
Our stay was in August 2014. Our family was very surprised at how wonderful this vacation home was. There were 9 of us, 5 adults and 4 teenagers. The teenagers slept and played in the bottom game room area, where there were several games, pool, Foosball and a large Television. This was a vacation spot made in heaveyn for these teenagers, they did not want to leave this room, they were having so much fun. Upstairs on the ground level we had access to kitchen, which had every utensil one could want. We cooked all our breakfasts and most of our dinners here and even grilled on the cover section of the large porch and listened to the river below. We were sure we seen fish jump once in a while. It was fun to wake up and open our sliding glass door from our bedroom that led to the large porch and hear the river and sometimes see deer. We did visit Todds Place (now called Alices Cookhouse), which less than 1/2 mile from the house, that has the best pulled pork. We like the idea that house is located off the beaten path, but yet, so close to town. We will be coming back to this home and highly recommend it.
