A charming, totally quiet retreat
Serene, well kept property. You can easily walk down to an overview of the river and lounge in Adirondack chairs. The cabin was immaculate, with a pantry off the kitchen. I unfortunately for me, I could not think of a way to load the woodburning stove in the kitchen into my car. It is a classic ! There are bunk bed when you walk in, then the kitchen, then a spacious living room/dining room. The two bedrooms, one with twin bed and one with a double bed, are separated by a bathroom with a very large tub. The front and back porches have Adirondack chairs and the front porch has a grill. There were enough dishes and a goodly amount of pots and pans, etc. along with a microwave and large refrigerator. Plenty of chairs and a small couch in the living room, which has a lovely rug. There were books and games. I learned to play Rummykub--quite fun. There is no TV, wi-fi and if you have AT&T cell, there is no service. Peace and quite abound ! The only glitch, for me, was not enough electrical outlets. I would return in a second if I hadn't spent all my money in the Graeagles shops, which are delightful and very individualistic. I promise that there are no calories or cholesterol in the Buckaroo chocolates !
