Great concept, nice size space. The rooms are decorated with art pieces, some of it from the proprietors. The space is very large compared to most B and Bs we have stayed in. The room we stayed in for the final night was beautifully decorated, painted, clean, modern, and dare I say it, "artsy." Would recommend a few things for the owners. A dresser to place our clothes in. Silverware, and filters for the coffee pot. The WIFI worked fine as did the TV. On wine, while the hospitality of a bottle of wine is appreciated, there are many good wineries in the area, and we would reccommend a local bottle of wine rather than a generic label. We would have liked to have explored the back yard, but the screen was not operating. This too is an easy fix. There was only one bed, plenty of room for others, but not sure if a family would work, though it could. I think this is a relatively new venture for the proprietors, and they will eventually have four or five spaces. If they make the small improvements suggested, this could easily be a five star rating, and we would eagerly return on a separate occasion. The proprietors live on site, were friendly and eager to please, and both I gather are long time artists in the area. The area is also very close to beaches in Western Michigan, the "sacred dunes" are a national treasure, excellent restuarants, antique places, and wineries. We enjoy a long weekend in the area each year.
