Vintage Trailer Park in Borrego Springs
I loved the park. It was very quiet and had a nice vibe to it. The trailer was at the back of the propertiy overlooking a field of wildflowers (at least now) and some hills in the background with lots of shade available. It was a mile from the State Park Visitor Center and about the same distance to town, so it was highly walkable/bikeable. The trailer was outfitted with everything you would need, although if you plan to cook your own meals, I would suggest instruction for using the stove. I have never had a trailer and the gas was off when we arrived and I was not fluent in the turn on the gas/light the pilot light (where was it on the stove?) etc. Since I had brought a camping stove, I declined to make the effort to find out this information although I am sure that Tom, the park manager would have been glad to provide it. I would definitely stay at this park again. Just wish they also had a few tent sites should we choose to camp, it was such a pleasant place to stay.
