Needs Better Directions
Check in was horrible. Key cafe (to get key) was inside a coffee shop and should have been noted as such. Direction to the garage was written as if we were staying at the property and coming from the property lobby, which instead should have been written with driving instruction going into the garage. There are multiple garage doors (all closed and can only be opened with remote) and there was no indication which garage door we need to enter, and which button on the remote control we need to push. It took us 45 minutes driving around the garages, entering and exiting each garage doors, going through each garage, to find the spot. Lisa, the owner, is on maternity leave, and the designated contact person had never been there and could not tell us how to get to the reserved spot. I had read review comments that driving instruction to the garage was poor and thus, few weeks before arrival, had sent an email asking for better directions and a contact number to call in case I had questions, but did not receive a response. Property location is great, walking distance to major attractions. Property was clean but could use better maintenance: window on the master bedroom do not latched, floor seems to had water damage (wood floor is bulking). Per other reviews, it is very loud as it is located next to the train station, but we didn't mind it as much. Would have given a 4 star, if we had a better check in experience.
