Great location and quaint studio, but...
We enjoyed 3 nights in this oceanfront studio. The location is superb- right on the beach. It was a quaint studio apartment with a nice bed and sitting area. However, it was a bit rundown. It looks like it was once a hotel/inn and has been closed and undergoing remodeling to some degree. The bathroom is small and the toilet did not work well. It was advertised as having a microwave and kitchenette with utensils, etc. This was not the case. There is a small fridge and tiny coffee maker, along with 2 coffee mugs and 4 glasses. There was no silverware, plates or bowls. There was no sink, so we needed to wash in the small bathroom sink. The windows did not open and the door does did not have a screen door. This was disappointing as we wanted to hear the sounds of the ocean and feel the ocean breeze but this was not possible. Also, the security gate to the units does not have a lock , as stated. There are a few homeless that hang out on the stairs leading to the beach, so we did not feel comfortable leaving the door open while we slept. WE did have a wonderful stay but felt the unit was not as advertised on the website.
