Beach house with character
We were a little apprehensive about staying in a house that had no reviews at the time we made our reservation. However our concerns were quickly put to rest upon arrival. This is a quaint little beach house in a quiet neighborhood containing mostly rental homes. The park close by was beautiful and they even showed movies on the Friday night we were there. The home was clean and well furnished. We loved the screened in porch and the beautiful tree in the front yard. It may not have the most up to date décor and TV's but the character and comfort of this gem makes up for it. It's probably reminiscent of why Myrtle Beach gained popularity in the first place. None of the high rise condos have a back yard with a clothesline for drying towels and bathing suits. I would definitely return to this home for a quiet stay in a neat part of NMB. The ocean drive pavilion and numerous shops, bars and restaurants are nearby (as well as the beach). I found a little produce stand close by also that had fresh vegetables and fruits as well as moped rentals.
