Serenissima was the first property I looked at that met my search criteria and I was instantly in love... I told myself that I should keep looking rather than immediately choosing the first one, but several rental views later, I knew that it was *the one* & I'm so glad that I went with my gut! The grounds are even more lovely than the pics show and the house itself is so cozy & charming. Pia is understating what is available at the house when she said in the description that most of the basics are included. Not only are there pretty much any kitchenware & gadgets that you could ever ask for, but the home has a great little library of books and some board games & some outdoor recreation items, too (croquet was my favorite find!). Most toiletries were there (tho we brought our own), washer & dryer on premises... there were even spices & other cooking basics in the cupboards. Other things that I didn't notice in the pictures included a fire pit with benches around it for campfires (that we didn't end up using, but still pretty cool) and an outdoor stone cooking stove (like campsites sometimes have, and there was also a small traditional grill). And the surrounding area is so remote & lushly green and gorgeous (& that's coming from a Vermonter!). Really there's just too much to mention! If we don't end up moving across the country this year, we would definitely want to stay here again.
