This was our first time to Hawaii so we are very novice and didn't know what to expect. We stayed a week in Oahu and a week on the Big Island. On Oahu, I decided to break the trip up into 2 separate stays. Once at this condo and another on Waikiki. We were traveling as a family (so 7 total). Comparing and contrasting the 2 condos we rented, this one was superior. It is very big and spacious and has all the amenities you would need. Natalie is fantastic and you can tell she really does go out of her way to make sure you have a great experience. The property is very well maintained, clean, gated and secure. Being that this was our first time, and even with all the research we did, I feel that it is important to share that this condo is on the west side of the island and is quite a ways a way from a lot of the touristy spots. I thought that there was a road that went completely around the island, which if this was the case, would have put us in close proximity of a lot of those spots. But come to find out, the road going from the west side of the island to the north side isn't workable. So we found ourselves driving quite a ways each day to go to the places on our list (north shore, Polynesian cultural center, east side of the island, etc.). So a lot of time in the car. Also, the traffic getting from the condo to anywhere of significance is always pretty bad and it didn't really matter the time of day. So for us, even though this condo was A+, we would have been better off staying on the North shore or somewhere on the east of the Island. But with that said, the condo is exactly as advertised and if you are planning on staying in Makaha, you won't go wrong!
