Comfort in the mountains and convenient location to Asheville attractions!
Our stay was delightful and the house was just what I had expected from the photos online... truly a home away from home! We found the accommodations to be comfortable, and convenient to everything we wanted to do while on vacation. The owners Phyllis and Michael are lovely hosts. They provided us with information on what to see and do and made a few great suggestions ahead of time. Phyllis's home made bread was delicious and many condiments were already stocked. The breakfast food and drinks got us started. She even had a crockpot on hand that I used one day and we enjoyed sitting down to a delicious meal "at home" after a long day of activities! I planned a full itinerary for our week, starting with 2 days of Biltmore tours. I highly suggest to review their website before hand. This was a bucket list item for me and I selected the Premium tour - a 2 hr. private tour with you and a guide (Joe) and the Legacy tour the next day. Two of the best tour experiences I've ever had. Joe took us places not on the regular house tour - so interesting! Downtown Asheville Trolley tour is a must and I suggest you take the tour during the beginning of your stay and you'll have a good idea of places you want to visit downtown. One suggestion - for the kitchen - include a non stick fry pan and a few micro wave dishes, other than that I would definitely stay there on a return visit! Thank you Phyllis and Michael for your hospitality! Linda :-)
