When staying in the Bay area, this is a perfect location
The house reminds me of a Tuscan villa. If you are visiting the Bay area and are looking to visit several locations then this house is a perfect central location. We visited Napa, the City, saw an Oakland A's baseball game, went for day trip to Monterrey, went to the train museum in Sacramento and it's old town. Visited family in Benicia and Walnut Creek. Just a perfect central point with easy driving from Hwy 24 or Hwy 13 to connect to either the 680, the 580, or Hwy 101. It was 30 minutes to SFO on an early Saturday morning. We prepared all breakfasts and dinners in the villa, even with a BBQ (Weber, my favorite) on one of the 3 decks. We entertained 2 parties of 6 each on the deck with an expandable table and plenty of deck chairs. The kitchen is built and equipped for making large or small meals. There is a Safeway about 1.5 km, and a laundromat about 2 km. The weather makes this an ideal summer spot. The Berkeley climate is much cooler than the East Bay and Sacramento area and much warmer than San Francisco in the summer. Able to sit on the deck for any meal and the sleeping temp is ideal. Cool features: TV has HDMI connector to PC, couch folds into comfy 2nd bed, kitchen island is great for food prep, plenty of towels and bedding and pillows, plenty of silverware and servings for large group BBQ, good wireless, multiple French doors that creates an openness, parking spot, and easy trash access.
