Cute little studio - amazing region !
We stayed at three different places during our Big Island vacation. This was our second place, where we were for two nights. We wanted to get a real feel of the ranch county area, the Kohala region and the Pololu and Waipi'o valleys. It turned out to be a great idea ! Don't miss this area. It is absolutely green and gorgus, with nice and warm people (we arrived just on time for the famers market). We saw lots of rainbows, amazing sceneries, the valleys are spectacular and are worth the hikes. We did not get a chance to meet with Cindy, but got very easily in touch through emails. Directions were easy to follow and information detailed and fine. The studio is small but cute and comfortable. Bathroom is very small and a little outdated, but everything is super clean, the bed very comfortable, lots of space for our luggages and clothes, and kitchen is fully equiped. There is a little private patio, nicely decorated. Perfect for a couple (or mayble a couple with an infant, but not three adults, as you would then have no space and intimacy at all). There was a big big storm on our first night in Waimea. Lots of wind gusts and rain, power went out. It was actually fun, as we felt totatly safe and comfortable and there were many candles to add to this cosy feeling of "being safe at home". There seems to be another bigger rental, partly above the studio. It was not occupied when we were there, so really we had the best private quiet spot ever.
