Charming Desert Hide Away
The ride to the Casita reminded me of being out in the desert. You ride along a dirt road, along part of the way, and admire the cactus and the flowers that are common in that part of the region. You drive past houses of beautiful architecture. Each morning we saw Quail run across the road and one morning we saw a Road Runner. The Casita is gated in and the grounds are very lovely and it is quiet. Above the Casita is a sitting area where you can go and enjoy the mountain scenery. The Casita is very clean and comfortable. I liked the southwestern decorations. The seating areas and the bed where comfortable. You are close to the grocery stores, places to eat and souviner shops. Our host was a very pleasant and accomating man. My only two reasons I do not give 5 stars for our stay is that I really was looking forward to using the hot tub and it did not seem to be working. The water was cold and we where given no instructions on its use if it was working. And if there would be a serious down fall of rain, I would be concerned of what that may do to the dirt road that leads to the property. Me and my husband would come back again.
