Perfect relaxing getaway
KP and John stayed two nights in this cabin that had everything we needed, excellent attention to detail and a some very nice surprises! After a day watching a graduation, we stopped by a a local grocery store and bought burgers for the grill. We met the owner and got a little tour. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner with, oil, butter, spices, linens... They even put some Vermont cheddar cheese in the frig and a basket of crackers and biscuits on the table. There were several coffee selections for the Keurig. We ate breakfast in the rocking chairs on the farmers porch each morning and we sat at the picnic table for dinner.. We cooked on the grill and sat at the fire-pit with Tiki torches lit. There was plenty of firewood., kindling, and matches. The cabin is well built, nicely landscaped, decorated and adorable. They even left us a candle. So many little unexpected touches were there that we totally enjoyed and appreciated. There is even a nice rope swing in front of the farmers porch! There is high end outlet shopping, antique shops and country stores about 10 miles south in Manchester. There is a little antique shop directly across the street. There are endless hiking trails right behind the property in the Green Mt. National Forest. Saturday we took a nice hike around Little Rock Pond, then went antiquing. We came home to find the shower was hot, and plenty of pressure. My only regret is that we did not get to stay longer. I hope to return to the cabin this fall during peak foliage. I will absolutely recommend to friends.
