Great change from staying down Kailua area!
IIRC this was our 7th trip to the Big Island, first time staying here (2/6-2/15/16) instead of down ocean front. Very nice change of pace. The apartment is very well built, nicely and tastefully decorated and apportioned. Didn't use it but appreciated seeing a gas not electric range in the amply supplied kitchen! Agree with other review directions detailed and accurate but finding the left turn up the drive was a challenge the first night in the dark (and rain!) but after that piece of cake. Only real niggle (mild complaint) would be no bathroom fan just window. Turns into a sauna totally steaming up mirror and walls etc. taking showers lol. Wouldn't stop us from staying here again. Great ocean views from kitchen and bedroom, would have been nice if apartment had been built "flipped" 180 so lanai was ocean side but knew that going in. Short walk down the stairs and across the parking to Gazebo great ocean views as described. No not like staying feet above the waves as had been our norm, but excellent panoramic view. And a fair trade from staying close in the hustle and bustle in a condo crowded with neighbors and noise etc. Except for the wildlife noises here of course, which personally I enjoy. (Even the rooster early in the mornings :-) All in all a quality home away from home at a fair price.
