We really enjoyed our stay at Woodsy Hideaway. And the floor plan was very nice. The cabin doesn't look so big when you drive up, but we all had plenty of room, cooked quite a bit in the kitchen (a bigger cutting board would be nice) and one night built a fire in the fire pit so we could roast marshmallows. It was very quiet at night with birds singing in the mornings. The major negative was lack of phone service for my friends' phone. I was able to make calls on my cell phone when I stood by the DR sliding glass doors, but my friend usually had to go outside to make or receive calls. Would definitely consider renting again for another visit to Brasstown and area. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and the owners were very attentive. Our days were spent at the John C Campbell Folk School (15 minute drive from cabin) and evenings were spent playing in the Hiawassee River or swimming at Lake Chatuge.
