Cozy, Clean and a Good Value
David's place was affordable and a good value. I stayed for two nights in December 2016 with my husband and our 7-year-old grandson, and overall it was a pleasant and relaxing stay, and very affordable. My grandson loved exploring the small but lush yard out back, which included a chicken coop, and looking for geckos. Safe, off-street parking. Good location, very close to snorkel beach Kahalu'u, Magic Sands beach, and Keauhou Shopping Center. Other Pluses: David was a welcoming host. The Wifi was great, the TV had lots of channels that helped entertain the young one. Shower and bathroom were fine (though small). Full size fridge, kitchen sink & drying rack, electric coffee maker & grinder, (bring your own coffee) microwave and electric hotplate. Affordable coin-operated washer & dryer in the common area looked old, but worked great, and were a wonderful convenience. Minuses: The unit is pretty small. The second bed is a fold-out couch--when unfolded, it leaves very little living space. When folded up, the space was fine, so I'd definitely recommend this unit for a couple. The couch as a bed was fine for a seven-year-old, but I think an adult might be uncomfortable on it, as the mattress was a bit old and saggy. Some street noise at night from Ali'i Drive.
Quiet cozy suite - 5 minute walk to beaches
