We had a pleasant few days at this cabin. The close stream helped us to relax as did the cool temperatures. The afternoon showers helped also until Thursday evening when the power went out. Thank you for having a lantern , oil, and matches . We had not used the top floor of the house and didn't realize there was a landline telephone up there so we traveled about 5 miles to get cell phone service. Luckily the caretakers phone number was on the rules of the home sheet on the refrig. They were most helpful in directing us as to how to make contact with the power company. (the power was restored in about 5 hours). The house was difficult to find because there are few house numbers posted near the road . I would advise taking plenty of bottled water for drinking and coffee making since the tap water has an unusual taste. This house ('once you find it ) provides a good place to unwind and rest.
