Unique and wonderful property
My family and I stayed at this wonderful property for a month in the summer of 2016. Our twin boys (who are nearly eight) attended a nearby day camp while my husband and I worked on our laptops on the back deck, enjoying the parade of wildlife. It really is a nature extravaganza, with deer, foxes, bald eagles, hawks, vultures, wild turkeys, and approximately a zillion songbirds. The driveway was perpetually full of rabbits, and at night we heard coyotes. The large, comfortable house seems to be set up for the views and the cross breeze, which makes it feel like you’re outside all the time even when you’re indoors. We ate dinner on the back deck every evening because that’s where the mountain view and lovely sunsets are. Both of our boys loved running rampant around the large property and feeding peanuts to the goats, and one of our boys, enumerating the outdoor dining locations and opportunities to view wildlife, exclaimed, “The whole house is a masterpiece!” Lovely hosts in every way, Garrett and Brian kept us informed of all the local goings-on (robins hatching in the barn! bobcats out front!) and shared their fresh eggs and garden bounty. We loved our visit and wholeheartedly recommend Fe Fie Faux Farm to travelers looking for a comfortable home in a unique location.
