Perfect Winter Experience
A few climbing friends and I stayed at this cabin for 4 nights around New Years Eve and had a blast. After a full day of climbing and hiking, we would come back to make dinner, grab some beers, take showers, and set up the fire pit. Pros: -The property is beautiful and spacious enough to feel like you have your own area. -The location is literally a few minutes driving distance from the entrance to the park. -Beautiful mementos and pictures of the friends who built the cabin -Easy to clean -Fire pit, hot shower, sink, large fridge, many areas to sleep, hot plate for cooking, lots of seating in main room. -Extremely affordable compared to anywhere else in the area Cons: -Only beds are pullout couches or sleeping pads upstairs. We had zero issues with this, but just a reminder for anyone who doesn't realize this is a real cabin experience. -If you want to do tons of cooking, bringing a camp stove may be a good idea for boiling water. The hot plate is fine, but just slow. Conclusion: Awesome place.
