Great house for one/two families to share. Perfect location!
I just enjoyed a wonderful weekend in Big Bear staying at this great house. My family shared it with another family, so we had 4 adults and 4 kids under 6 yo. There are two "grown up" bedrooms (one with Queen and one with King) and a perfect kids' room that features a bunk bed + trundle. The house was very cozy and comfortable with a nice kitchen and bar area, big dining area, and comfortable couches in the living room. The adults also enjoyed the jacuzzi in the evenings. All in all we loved the place and loved the location. It's towards the East side of the Big Bear area and up on the hill, so the houses have some space around them. I noticed that lots of rentals down closer to the Village are jammed in on top of each other. We felt much more secluded. Also both grocery stores are on the East side of the lake so that's handy, too. And there was a perfect little sledding hill just one house over! Couple drawbacks for the house are the steps up from the parking spot are pretty long! Kind of a pain when you're loading luggage in/out. But it was a good workout! And the Queen bed was a little bit uncomfortable. A little stiffer mattress than I prefer. But, again ... overall a wonderful home base from which to enjoy the area.
