Close quarters but loved it!
We had a wonderful time in this quaint cabin. Although the lake has receded and the dock sits on the ground now, it was perfect for the younger children in our family. The entire backyard was converted into a frisbee golf field and it was beautiful to behold and play in! The view was gorgeous and we couldn't wait to look out the windows each morning. There is a sandy area out back which is great for kids to play in and you can keep an eye on them from the deck. There is no shade/covering on the deck but we brought our own pop-up shade so that worked great. The marina is right next door (you can walk to it) and it felt very private. There was plenty of dish soap and pots/pans but you need to bring your own spices, charcoal, lighter and lighter fluid for the bbq. Very little light pollution and the night sky was awesome to behold! The hot tub was amazing for adults to un-wind in after a long day of fun. Although there are two bathrooms, the downstairs shower is a little tight so you might end up using just one shower. Also, the "third bedroom" is really a large closet with a queen bed. It does not have it's own door and opens into the second bedroom (with the bunk beds) so just FYI. If you keep the windows closed during the day the cabin keeps very cool. We were never overheated in there, perfect. Overall loved staying here!
