Would highly recommend for two people
Overall, I have to say we really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was in a good location for commuting to and from Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks, was adorably decorated (had a rustic Christmas theme going on), had just about everything we needed (e.g., dishes, first aid kit, soaps in bathroom, odds and ends foods...except no olive oil). Was also immediately across the street from the Pinehurst lodge that has a rustic restaurant where you can grab a quick bite if you don't feel like cooking (very convenient). The only reason I didn't give the rental 5 stars was because the pullout couch (sofa converts) was exceptionally uncomfortable. Could feel all the springs, made lots of noise when you moved, and the bed dipped so if sleeping two, one person was likely to roll onto the other. If only two people are sharing the cabin it would be a wonderful choice sleeping-wise as we were told the main bed was very comfortable. A few notes: The house was clean and the pull-out sofa made when we arrived. The kitchen had a coffee maker, stove, microwave, and very small refrigerator. The back deck was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee, although there were a lot of bees hanging around while we were there (mid August). Never stung us but definitely a nuisance. The property manager was responsive when I reached out to her, which I really appreciated. I had no cell reception while staying at the cabin (through ATT) but Verizon seemed to get a few bars. Wifi worked but was slow. Would be happy to stay here again! ...although preferably not on the pullout couch.
