My sisters and I do a sister trip every year and this was the perfect spot for us! The houseboat was so cute, charming decorations, comfy beds, clean, and an amazing view off the back "patio." We met every single live-a-board neighbor out there and even had a night cap with one! They are super friendly, but they will also leave you alone if that is your wish. :) The Marina staff is so nice! They'll answer any question you have and recommend places to go too! On Saturday, we went to the Farmers Market at the Community Center. I highly recommend Orre's handmade glass balls or his "Bobby" t-shirt. He's so cute and it's fun to chat with him and his dad. I went running every morning -- I got in a solid 5-miles each day! It's hilly, beautiful, and you can run to the state park and do a few hikes too. We took advantage of the fire pit & grill across the water -- It's beautiful -- the Marina will have wood and the houseboat will have charcoal & lighter fluid. The Marina will also have Dramamine, beer, water, s'more's stuff, paper towels, etc. Get your groceries ahead of time, as Drew lists in the description. It's calming, peaceful, and a great community! I highly*highly recommend it. I cannot say enough good things about this place. :) P.S. Pack light!
