Whomever tricked this, well, tin can into an amazing pad ought to deserve an award for innovative practicality while remaining totally awesome---it's got everything a ultra-sleek hotel room has, plus a kitchen. My wife and I were allowed to hitch it up and take it up the PCH to Jalama Beach near Santa Barbara to camp out on the beach for two nights. We quickly became the most popular couple there as everyone who took a peek inside the Airstream had a similar smiling expression of surprise when they stepped out. It's modern with an old-school twist. Or the other way around. Highly recommended for campers and outdoor enthusiasts who are used to cramped space and certain utility limitations. Non-outdoor folks might it find frustrating or even get a sense of cabin fever due to its size. If a weekend getaway means poolside afternoons while pool attendants bring you cocktails, don't book the Airstream. However, if you've ever wanted to wake of the sound of waves crashing not far from your door and sea gulls callings overhead, do book it and make it your one-of-kind outdoor experience.
