Sedona Summit - Nice.
My mother and I shared a 1 Bedroom Sunset Suite. This was a very nice room. The resort is well maintained. We did not use any of the amenities. The location is good. It seems to be just on the outskirt of town which means you don't get caught in the majority of traffic. My only caution is to avoid the sales pitch at all costs. We did receive the obligatory $100 in certificates which went towards a couple of meals. However they scheduled our pitch at noon on the only full day we had in Sedona. The pitch lasted over an hour and a half. They are high pressure and it's awful. We should have known better. That really ruined our trip to Sedona. Though we had good food. A few great places to eat in the area...Oak Creek Brewery (The Mandarin Beer is awesome! good steak sandwich). Dahl & DeLuca Italian Fancy (though we didn't dress up and some of the other diners less so...mickey mouse tee, really!) and pricey...though the steak will melt in your mouth and the desserts...yum...may I suggest the combo dessert plate...share or keep it all to yourself. Creekside Restaurant...excellent breakfast and beautiful view...though most restaurants in the area have this.
