Amazing Girl's Weekend in SB
Every year a group of moms (who meet when our babies were in diapers) get together for Mother's Day weekend to celebrate and have a truly relaxing Mother's Day. This year we chose Santa Barbara. Four of us arrived on Thursday afternoon and were met with Jill at the house. We were blown away by the view. The house is set-up to take advantage of the rolling hills views. It felt like we were in the hills of Italy yet we were 5-10 minutes from restaurants and stores. Everything was clean and the pictures do not do the house justice. The patio areas had multiple fire pits. We picked up two more friends from the train station and decided to order food and enjoy the house and patios. We hiked to Parma park right from the house and took the view trail to get a panoramic view of Santa Barbara, Montecito and the ocean. We also went wine tasting and to an adult event at the zoo. Getting fresh eggs from the chicken and making meals in the well-stocked kitchen was also a highlight of our weekend. I especially appreciated how clean the house was and the little touches like the twinkling lights and flameless candles. We haven't visited the same place twice yet, but if we do- it would be here.
