Wonderful beach balcony, recently updated, full kitchen, great rates - you need to stay here!
If you are looking for a relaxing oceanfront retreat look no further! Robin and Danny have provided a lovely condo just an elevator ride down to beautiful beach access. The condo itself has obviously been recently updated with soothing natural wall colors complimented by nautical décor. The full kitchen sets this condo apart from others I've stayed in before that provide only a small/hallway type kitchen. There is ample space for a week's worth of food and beverage in the full size fridge/freezer combo. And don't worry about hand-washing dishes on your vacation because this unit has a dishwasher too!! We were pleasantly surprised to discover a toaster which was helpful each morning. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure (not often found on higher floors) and plenty of hooks for wet towels and swimming suits. A nice perk is the hair dryer mounted to the wall! We enjoyed the resort amenities using the hottest of three available hot tubs each morning. We didn't use the swimming pool, but it was full of children each afternoon splashing about having a great time. The weather was a little cool during our stay, but we were most comfortable inside the unit and enjoyed sitting on the balcony each night listening to the waves crash against the beach wearing long sleeved tees. Two beach chairs were provided in the unit and were easy to carry down to put into action. Communication with Robin was easy and quick. She's a fantastic property owner and should our travels bring us back to Myrtle Beach we will definitely contact her asking to stay here again. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our time away from home and know you will too if you choose to stay here. This property would work well for a couple or group of girlfriends getting away for a weekend. A couple with one or two small children would also be quite comfortable. We returned late on Saturday night to find the parking garage completely full due to an event onsite. However, the resort staff informed us our parking pass would allow us to park across the street at the Landmark for the night which was perfectly convenient. All staff we encountered was pleasant and helpful. If you stay here it's worth the drive to 61st Ave North to Luigi's Trattoria (luigismyrtlebeach.com) for some really great Italian food. Also, if in the mood for a good burger head south to River City Café (rivercitycafe.com).
