Great lake house!
We had three families meet up for a week at this lake house. It was large and accommodated the group well! There are 3 large balconies, one can be closed off to keep pets or younger children in their own space. The main level has no stairs so someone who is challenged with mobility issues can manage it. Kitchen has lots of prep space, 2 sinks and lots of supplies. Unfortunately the BBQ was barely adequate. We were not able to use the large wood fired oven because of the campfire ban. Another negative was that 2 of the bedrooms have skylights. Who thinks that's a good idea? We were woken up at 6:30 every day. They should be covered with tinfoil at least or a rectangle of black out fabric could be tacked to the ceiling. Wifi was available but worked best before 8am. Otherwise there was just too much demand. Lovely views and access to the lake. Three beaches and a large dock were more than enough for our crew including a boat. Lake was clean and a refreshing temperature. (Warmer than we expected). Enjoyed watching the fish off the dock! We rented water toys and filled the boat with gas at a marina about 13 km away. The surrounding property was forested which made for nice walking and a feeling of privacy. Fintry Provincial Park nearby is worth a visit! It's about 40 minutes to Vernon or Kelowna for supplies. There's a convenience store closer but it's predictably expensive.
