Felt like a local during my stay in Charleston
I was amazed at Cristina's hospitality. As soon as I pulled up to the property I was greeted along the driveway. Coincidence I'm sure, but it was still nice being welcomed for my first time at the property. She escorted me to the back yard where the tiny house is located, introducing her dog along the way. As far as the space goes, it was a perfect fit for 2 guests for a week. Any concerns that the space would feel cramped or give us "cabin fever" were vanquished after the first night. The ladder up the bed loft was surprisingly easy to climb and the head space in the bed area was more than I expected, I never once hit my head. The bathroom was immaculate with the great stand up shower and moderate fixtures decorating the walls and sink made the space feel homey. Cristina is a very hands off host which works out great if you really want to feel solo and relax during your vacation, but I knew she was never more than a phone call or text away if I needed anything like fresh towels, recommendations, etc. Cristina's property and tiny house are located in the heart of Mt. Pleasant in an area that is a short walk or drive to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. It made me feel like a local being able to drive to downtown in about 10-15 minutes, and to Sullivan's Island in about 5. I thoroughly enjoyed my week long stay in the tiny house, and would consider booking again next year when I return to Charleston!
