Peaceful and homey
We loved staying here for two nights. The description is accurate and property was clean when we arrived. We liked the decor and homey feel of the cabin. The owner met us and was more than welcoming. We felt like valued guests. My two year old grandson went fishing for his first time, but enjoyed following the ducks around more than fishing. He loved seeing the cats, dog, chickens, horses, goats, and sheep. This is a wonderful place for children to get out and play. The only downside (and it is because this is an authentic cabin) is that the only bathroom is located inside the downstairs bedroom. Not a problem for us as a family, but could be for those who want more privacy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to spend time away from modern, busy life.
