Privately situated at the back of a very nice property, the guesthouse had everything we needed.
It is clean, new and spacious! Quiet and secure neighborhood. The location was perfect for us while visiting our daughter in Sherman Oaks, and hiking in the Santa Monica mountains. Sarah and John, the owners, were very responsive to our request for reading lamps (which are now in the unit) and when the internet was down (we were there during a serious rainstorm). There is a good shower with lots of hot water, and since we were there in February, we used the efficient heating system. The towels are thick and new. The bed was a bit firm for me, but my husband liked it and I adapted. Lots of closet space. The stacked washer/dryer was great to have. We did not use the pool, but if it were warmer we would have. We picked lemons from their many fruit trees and made lemonade! The driveway is steep, but at the top is plenty of parking space. Woodland Hills has lots of restaurants (try The Baker's Baker, Roy's, Lily and Leo, Joey). Ralph's supermarket is a few blocks away. We mostly drove on Ventura, rather than the 101, less hassle and more interesting. Don't miss the very scenic Mullholland Hwy. (the wine trail in Malibu). At night a hoot owl gave us a lullaby. We'll be back.
A villa with one bedroom, one bath and kitchen. Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children.
