If I could give this house 10 stars, I would...
My mother and I stayed in this house for our one-week vacation; it was our first experience with a vacation rental and I wasn't sure what to expect. If you find something online and book it, you have to expect the worst, right? Wrong. The photos provided are wonderful, and still don't do it justice. I could write a thesis on how wonderful this house is. The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil one could ever need to cook, cut, wash (with a new sponge!), toast, fry, strain -- EVERYTHING. The appliances in the kitchen are all brand new Viking appliances. The washer and dryer area has an iron, ironing board and detergent. The bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner. The closets have hangers. There's a broom and a dustpan, if you need it. The beds are comfortable. The bedding was clean. My mom and I are a little nuts about things being clean; I was SHOCKED at how neat and tidy the house was. Just immaculate. The house is about a 10-minute drive from Kapaa and its beaches. This is my 3rd time visiting Kauai; I've stayed on the South shore and North shore before, but I think this location is perfect. From Kapaa to the house, there is an incredibly beautiful, tropical drive into a very nice, safe neighborhood. At the house, you're surrounded by rolling hills, pastures and thick, lush greenery everywhere you look. From the back lanai, you can see the ocean in the distance. Kauai is a beautiful, serene and relaxing place to take a vacation - you can go hiking, visit waterfalls, canyons, remote beaches, take helicopter rides that will show you where movies were filmed, go on tubing adventures through irrigation ditches that cascade down mountains - it's a great island with tons to do. But my mom and I found ourselves looking forward to coming home each day just as much as we did going out. The house is that great. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home, Brandon :) Hillary and Carol
