Peace and quiet but convenient to everything!
Everything described and shown, by Bob and Lucy in their HomeAway offering, is absolutely true. If you like peace and quiet and a home-y, farm-y atmosphere, this is your place to stay. No traffic noise -- it's well off a no-outlet street with no side roads or cross roads at all. No aircraft or freeway noise either. We reveled in the fresh eggs, and they also shared with us their garden herbs and vegetables, and their fruit trees (different plums and apples). They were attentive to all our needs, and the place really is close enough to anything you would want to see or do. We would stay there in their little paradise again for sure, if we go near Santa Rosa any time. Things we enjoyed in the area: * Walking at Armstrong Redwoods, Shiloh Ranch, Sonoma Valley Regional Park (Suttonfield Lake), Quarry Hill Botanical * Up and Away hot air balloon ride *Joe Matos Cheese Factory/farm *Restaurants: Goji, Chef Patrick, Geyserville Grille *Sonoma Farmer's Market with food trucks and music *Wineries: Kendall-Jackson, Ferrari-Carano Bob and Lucy know many other great things to enjoy in the area.
