Perfect for our needs!
Overall loved this cute little house. It was perfect for what we needed. We had 7 in our group, 2 adults in one room, 3 siblings in another (our 2 teen boys shared a queen bed and 9 yr daughter on a small pull out sofa in same room), then adult and her young daughter shared third room/bed. We were of course gone most of the time out "playing" but the house had books to read, games to play, a play station, etc. We didn't have time to play them but it was nice. The pictures online need updating (unless they have been) but the tv is flat screen (3 tvs total in house), and furniture and bedding is updated. Beds seem older and creaked but we slept great: nice and comfy. It is an older home so don't expect perfection. Bathrooms are a little odd by being inside each bedroom so our kids would cross through to go. In pictures I couldn't figure out where washer and dryer would be, but they are in the bedroom off of the kitchen in a closet, full size and worked great. Kitchen picture makes you wonder where table and fridge are but they are there and plenty of room. Microwave was kind of crappy. Stove is small (couldn't buy a large pizza to bake in there) but worked for needs. Parking is side street and with shops around we were worried about losing our spot, but with two cars we never did. Short walk to ocean view walking/biking path. We walked to aquarium just fine. We never saw where we could walk right down on the beach to play though. Overall great middle location for playing in Monterey, Morro Bay, Santa Cruz, and even San Francisco. The only complaint we would have is the lack of personal welcoming from owners. We never heard from owners until we showed up at the door needing to get in, and we had to call them. Still a great place! Great trip!
