I am not happy about writing a negative review but, for us, they stay was a disappointment. So many others are pleased with the accommodations that I feel I should describe why it is that we were disappointed and then let the next renters decide for themselves. Ross was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Directions were perfect and the booking process worked well. The location is quiet and just a few easy blocks from Banff's main street. The cabin is behind an old home and one corner is perhaps four to five feet from the house. A half size unsheltered picnic table sits outside the cabin and is the only table for eating. There is a gas grill in this area. The parking lot ( quiet) of the neighboring apartment is directly on the other side of the fence but a tree or two does allow some privacy. The kitchen is tiny and a bit shabby with no ice tray in the freezer compartment. Four large hooks in the kitchen area will accommodate coats, etc. There are two TVs; one in the living area and one in the bedroom. The bed in the bedroom extends into the walkway between the living and bedroom areas and is wedged into a corner so that only one side has an exit from the bed. The jetted tub is perhaps is close as two feet to the end portion of the bed but does open up at the other end of the tub. The cabin is very dark, or cozy, but we were comfortable with the temperature. The bathroom has no electrical outlet. The shower, with the small entry doors meeting at right angles is difficult to access without getting water on the bathroom floor. The water was nice and hot. It was not a perfect fit for us.
