Perfect for guests that are familiar with the area
We stayed for a weekend in the middle of October and the house was exactly what we wanted. Quiet and close to everything with plenty of room to spread out. This group was 4 adults and 2 children under 2. The bedrooms were plenty big (one king and 2 twins) plus it appears there were two pullout sofas as well. Full kitchen makes life easier and allows you to cook anything you may want. If you're looking for a getaway and know the area, this is a wonderful spot. If you want beach front property or a couple block walk like you might find in Lakeside, then this is not for you. However, if a 5 minute drive to the beach doesn't deter you, then this is wonderful. The house is nice and secluded in the woods and far enough off Red Arrow that you won't hear traffic, but close enough that you can get to your destination in a matter of minutes. Swedish Bakery is under 5 minutes away, Red Arrow Roadhouse was an 8 minute drive. Greenbush Brewery and Sawyer Market was an 8 minute drive. Oinks and Redamaks are 15 minutes away and as you prepare to head out, 94 is only 5-10 minutes as well. The wineries and any other Harbor County attractions are very easy to get to. Plus, you might just stumble across the family of deer as they pass by the back door, next to the charcoal grill. There's a tv with some cable if needed but we spent the majority of time time on the wonderful screened-in porch and playing bags in the large yard. Wifi is available if you can't get away from work or just want to stream music. Everyone left beyond satisfied and will be back next year. We honestly wouldn't change a thing. The owners were in constant contact and easy to work with. Never felt pressured for anything and were quick to respond to any texts.
Lovely cottage in the heart of Harbor Country.
