A nice quaint place to stay in Central Phoenix
This is the other rental, from the same person, that I stayed in while I was in Arizona. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars but there is no option for that. It’s a lot smaller, and it’s perfect for 1 or 2 people with not a lot of luggage. It’s located more in the Central Phoenix area so it’s more of a big city environment in this area. Despite its location to the bigger city it was still relatively quiet and I had no issues. There is adequate parking in the front of the house, so there is no need to compete for a parking space at all. The house I rented was in the back of the main house that was being renovated. And if they were doing work on the house I couldn’t tell because it was always so quiet, which is a plus for me. When I walked in the house there was a welcome letter addressed to me and some fresh baked cookies as well, thank you Leah. Just like the rental at University Heights in Tempe, the place was clean and allowed my pup to stay. This house had a doggie door built into the door, so there was no need to remove the insert. It worked out great for him, because he didn’t have to wait for me to move the insert. The area was great for me because it was right around the corner from my old employer and Lopers Speed shop. So if you’re a car guy or girl check it out. The house had a very nice setup considering its small size. It had a lot of upgraded appliances and the home décor had a nice taste to it as well. The bathroom had a nice oversized shower/bathtub with a nice shower head that produced a steady flow of water. This reminded me of how the showers are in Germany. Now I do have to admit that the house can get a quite bit warm to hot depending on the outside weather. Keep in mind this is a smaller little house separate from the main house. It doesn’t have central ac but it does have a ceiling fan and window unit. This was no problem for me because I was always gone and I took my dog with me a lot of the time anyways. Plus I am from Arizona, so I deal with the heat easy. The washer and dryer are located outside of the house, but it’s only because there is no space for them inside the house. But I’ve had to wash clothes in Iraq and Afghanistan in a bucket, so this is heaven compared to that. For anyone that is deciding on renting this house I would say go for it. Don’t let the area make you question if this place is right for. I just hope my review will help you decide on renting this nice quaint house. SFC Smith U.S. ARMY
