Absolutely wonderful. Could use some fans if there is no air conditioner, B.C. was HOT!
You could not ask for more. The main bedroom by the washroom had a nice big bed (king sized?) and the room on the same side at the end of the corridor had two very nice single beds. Opposite it, a nice queen room with ensuite...but lacks a mirror! A full length mirror would be a good addition. And the other bedroom had, again, a nice queens sized bed. Great mattresses, excellent bedding, great laundry facilities, excellent TV and a glorious kitchen. No coffee or filters there...might want to bring your choice of favourite coffee. The only problem I had was regarding the advertised price. I was so used to looking on AirBNB and other Homeaway properties, I totally missed the fact that Ross' place was quoted in U.S. dollars. You can determine this on the site if you look carefully I guess. I suppose I wanted the big white dollar figure on the photo of the property in Canadian funds....since we are, after all, Canadian. However, Ross became aware of this situation and was kind enough to make the bill more comfortable for me, as my daughters are on strict budgets and low income, so it was a burden for them to find out what the actual stay was going to cost. Great centralized place to stay - opens up the whole north shore while being a stones throw from downtown. Right next to highways 1 and 99. This property sleeps 8 very comfortably. I would highly recommend it. The travel into Vancouver involves the bridge, and we were lucky weekend warriors and had little trouble getting into downtown extremely quickly. My son warned me it is not always this way. Great landscaped lot with small discreet patio with supplied barbeque if you want to use it.
