Your cottage in Bainbridge, Washington had the perfect setting: a wonderful view of the Sound and city of Seattle, in a quiet coastal community. We had never been to Bainbridge Island before. Such a cute little town! But I do have some two suggestions that would help make it a more comfortable place. Things that are important to us: 1. Window coverings in the bedroom: Something to keep out the early sunlight. The sun shines directly in the window, waking us up at the crack of dawn!! And the warm sun heats up the room quickly. For the second night, I put up the dark blue sheets over the windows, so that the room would stay darker for a longer sleep. 2. The bed is very comfortable, but only big enough for one adult. Especially when it's a male adult! The second night, I had to move to the living room, to the couch, but being too small, ended up on the floor for the rest of the night. If I had thought about it, I would have slept on the patio lounge chair! So maybe a bigger bed, (Queen size would be nice. Better yet, a King,) or have a love-seat couch that becomes a sleeper. I didn't sleep well all weekend. My husband slept great the second night.
