Excellent and beautiful stay - small for 4 people, but if a close-knit group wont have a problem
The pictures are an accurate representation of the property. The home is located on a moderately-trafficked road but it is set back and protected from noise by landscaping. The property backs onto an undeveloped area and two mesas run on either side of the properties that front on the road. The fire pit and gardens are wonderful - very relaxing. The owner warned us about mosquitoes, which were a problem around dusk but they were virtually all gone about an hour after sunset. We did not wear repellent and no one complained. The living space is a bachelor-type studio with a kitchen and sleeping area, and a spacious, clean bathroom. I stayed here for one night with family - we are a close group that didn't mind sleeping in the same room together. We're all in our early 30s, one was pregnant, and we spent our trip hiking nearby. This place has amazing access to pristine hiking and fishing areas within 45 minutes of driving. Two guests slept on a double Murphy bed (very comfortable) and two slept on an inflatable mattress on the ground (the inflatable is a cheaper model but we didn't have a big issue with this since we were staying for just one night). The owners were very responsive and very welcoming - they offered some nice treats (firewood, snacks, check-ins before our arrival) to make sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place. It is perfect for 2, and works well for up to 4 if the group is on a shorter stay and everyone gets along well :) Thanks for a great stay!
