Fantastic for bikers
This adorable 3 bedroom home is beautiful decorated using a Nautical theme. The screened porch has two rocking chairs and a nice view of the Chesapeake Bay which is a block away. Hoppers Island is 40 minutes from Highway 50 and the town of Cambridge. The turn is at the huge Wal-Mart. The house is just 15 minutes from the Blackwater Wildlife refuge. This is a great spot for bikers. There is very little traffic. There is one restaurant close to the house called Old Saltys. They open from 11:00 - 8:00 pm on Wednesday to Sunday. Great crab chowder. We picked it up every morning. Make sure to visit the Asateague National Park. For $20 you get a pass for the week. You can see the wild horses, bike, and rent kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards. It is about 1 hour and 40 minutes from the house. The park is on the bay and ocean. The bay side is shallow and warm. The ocean side is very nice. Huge sandy beaches. Just bring bug spray. We enjoyed our 9 days at the house. If you are a biker you will enjoy the area for riding. There is a Bbq grill. The pool table was a great perk. The bedrooms are split so the master is on one side with its bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a bathroom on the other side of the house. The owner's were very nice and easy to contact. This was a great spot to relax.
