Great Stay while escaping the New England Snow
My husband and I stayed here for three months. (Jan/Mar). We were working remotely as both my husband and I work in technology. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Sarah was the best landlady and made us feel warm, welcome and comfortable. The condo has all the necessary items for a long term stay. The location of the condo is excellent to all major freeways, restaurants, activities in Tempe Beach Park and 15 minutes from Old Scottsdale, as well as one block away from the light rail to Pheonix (30 min). There are unlimited activities in the area - hiking, festivals, Music in the Garden @ the Botanical Garden, Happy Hours at most restaurants, Horse Shows at West World, and plenty of shopping!! We enjoyed Snooze for breakfast, the Roaring Fork and The Stockyard for Happy Hour, Frost Gelato in Gilbert and Gertrudes @ the Botanical Garden, Thai Basil, Jorge's Chicken and Waffles. Sarah also provided ideas and guidance, as we did experience the lakes (Tonto National park), which we may have never thought about. Within a few hours, you can be in Yuma, Sedona, Palm Springs, Florence, Tuscon and even Mexico; all areas that provide additional activities and experiences. Please be aware that this condo is a couple of blocks from ASU, so the streets are busy with students coming and going. Also, the condo is a second floor with no elevator, so be prepared for stairs and getting some exercise!! Although close to ASU, the majority of the residents in this condo community are young professionals (20, 30, 40 somethings) and it was quiet and private for our entire stay. No issues and we would recommend and stay here again.
