Did NOT want to leave
We were a family of nine hoping for a nice vacation at a place that has long lingered in my memory of family vacations when I was a child. Our stay in this beautiful home at White Lake met or exceeded our hopes and expectations for togetherness, seclusion and safe swimming. From the front porch to the two-story living quarters to the back porches and the boathouse, there was an eye for design, for utility, and for comfort. We made some great memories, and now my grandchildren love White Lake, too. Mrs. Stewart was very nice to deal with, and having stayed in the home, I feel like I know her and her sister. I'm fairly confident that this home has been prayed over as a place of blessing and enjoyment for their own families and for mine and yours, if you're reading this review. I highly recommend you and your loved ones spend time here, just not the second week of July when we hope to return next year!!! As to the lake, the water is not as colorless as I recall, but it is still very clear, and the bottom is still a very fine grain white sand that feels like velvet on the soles of your feet. You can walk out a long way. I towed my grandchildren on floats "way out", and they couldn't believe my feet were still flat on the bottom. Somehow that is part of the magic of White Lake. The owners provided the rest.
